Sometimes it is very easy to lose your focus and well, procrastinate. Especially when the sun is out and you already have to sit by a computer all day at work. But of course you cannot procrastinate forever, although procrastination can be fun, it does not get you anywhere. This is why I have needed help to stop being lazy and getting back into my blogging and personal designing :)

Picasso said it well. I will avoid being morbidly to the point by discussing the uncertainty of when death will hit us, and concentrate on the fact that it is important to get things done. For example I started this blog for several reasons, some of which were so I would improve myself and my life. It actually upsets me that I let it go slack so much lately. In terms of art, design and photography – you will probably regret not getting things done, nor will you move forward in your creative skills if you put them off.

Dave Walker Cartoons – a fun website to check out if you like comic strips, however that does defeat the purpose a little about not procrastinating.. Either way, this little sketch sums up procrastination. There are countless of times where I get stuck on a design or an activity, lose inspiration and leave it hanging for awhile. But what I’ve learnt is that it’s okay to take a break, because going back to it with fresh eyes can really help inspire you and get you going again. Sometimes a little will power to sit down and go at it for a little while will suddenly turn out to be a very productive and fun time :)
